The event will bring together library workers, educators, writers, publishers, and exhibitors from the library and information industry to explore collaborative learning, expand their networks, and celebrate at award ceremonies. LibLearnX will take place January 24-27, 2025 in Phoenix, Arizona.

¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ Youth Media Awards

Each year the ¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ honors books, videos, and other outstanding materials for children and teens. Recognized worldwide for the high quality they represent, the including the prestigious Newbery, Caldecott, Printz, and Coretta Scott King Book Awards, guide parents, educators, librarians, and others in selecting the best materials for youth. Selected by committees composed of librarians and other literature and media experts, the awards encourage original and creative work in the field of children’s and young adult literature and media. The 2025 ¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ Youth Media Awards will be announced on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025, 8:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. MT during , the ¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ's (¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ) newest conference offering launched in 2022. The I Love My Librarian Award recognizes the outstanding public service contributions of librarians working in public, school, college, community college, or university libraries who transform lives and improve communities. Each year 10 librarians are selected from nominations submitted by library supporters nationwide. Since the award's inception in 2008, more than 21,000 nominations have been submitted. Winners receive a $5,000 cash award, complimentary conference registration, and a travel stipend as part of their prize package. Andrew Carnegie MEdals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction

The Andrew Carnegie Medals for Excellence in Fiction and Nonfiction, established in 2012, recognize the best fiction and nonfiction books for adult readers published in the U.S. in the previous year and serve as a guide to help adults select quality reading material. They are the first single-book awards for adult books given by the ¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ and reflect the expert judgment and insight of library professionals who work closely with adult readers. Winning authors receive a $5,000 cash award. The 2024 medals (one for fiction, one for nonfiction) will be announced at the LibLearnX RUSA Book & Media Awards event, Sunday, January 21, at LibLearnX. Annually, librarians of ¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ's Reference & Users Services division chose the year’s best in fiction, nonfiction, audiobooks, reference materials, and more. At the LibLearnX RUSA Book & Media Awards event, Sunday, January 21, the Notable Books List, Reading List, Listen List: Outstanding Audiobook Narration, Outstanding Reference Sources, and Essential Cookbooks List will be revealed along with the winners of the Sophie Brody and Dartmouth Medals.
