Advocacy Training

In partnership with ¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ's Chapter Relations Office, these webinars provide an opportunity for chapter leaders to showcase best practices, share ideas, and learn about ¹Ü¼ÒÆŲÊͼ resources.

Advocacy Events

National Library Legislative Day is a two-day advocacy training that brings hundreds of librarians, trustees, library supporters, and patrons to Washington, D.C. to meet with their members of Congress and generate support for library issues. Participants receive advocacy training along with briefings prior to their meetings.

Each September thousands of public and school libraries come together in a national effort to remind parents and children that a library card is the most important school supply of all. Library Card Sign-up Month was launched in 1987.
